Glaring Problem
How in the world do Big & Little Enos know Buford in the first place? They never shared any screen time together in the previous movies nor did they ever seem to come into contact with one another... Ideas anyone?

shareThe only reason they know him is because the script said so. It's obvious the only reason this movie was made was to cash in on what little was left of the 'Smokey' franchise.
Besides, I can think of lots of other glaring problems in this movie. Like how did Jerry Reed know exactly where to drive to catch up to Buford? And the Enos's too...the way they can show up right ahead of where Buford and Jr will be so they can lay a trap makes no sense. Suppose they went a different direction or took a different road?
But the thing that was really REALLY stupid, in a Three-Stooges way, was at the end when Jr gets run over by Snowman and he gets up with tire tracks on his shirt. LAME!!!!!!
CAUTION! MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS FOR A FILM THAT IS COMMONLY REGARDED AS "CRAP"
Anyone ever notice the following:
When the body is blown off of Bufords car the whole chassis and wheels are completey dirty (rusty too?) yet Buford and Junior are squeeky clean.
Both the Bandit and Bufords cars can have metal rails come out of knowhere for stunt shows.
Bufords cruiser can repair its fender or dispose of it at random times.
The pursuit lights on Bufords car are possesed by Christine as they always manage to stick back to Bufords car and repair themselves even after tasking a goot hit from the jump, heck they even work not only with the plug (What cop uses plugs for his lights?) but apparently they also are unaffected by the exsplosion yet the rest of the car is blown up.
Bufords such a good driver two flats don't effect is driving.
Bufords really retired yet he still gets a cop car (Though this ones a bit dinky) and he still calls himself "Sherrif".
yeah, I've pointed this out too. Soooo....Buford is "retired", but yet still drives a police car and can "unretire" at a moments notice. And Junior goes along with him (isn't he still a cop himself?) Plus, when they go to that Florida resort, why isn't his oft-mentioned wife with them?

How in the world do Big & Little Enos know Buford in the first place? The scene of the "Joey Chitwood (spelling?) Thrill Show" has the announcer telling the crowd that it is the Bandit and he also says, "Yes! It is Buford T. Justice" just as the police car jumps through the wall of fire. We have to assume that by this time in the story line that the media coverage of them has been nation-wide and they are somewhat famous.
How about when the Enises call the Snowman at the beginning, and ask him to drive the bandit's car. When Snowman gets home, the car's already in the garage. How did it get there? Maybe they had someone bring the car there, but how would they know where he lived?
shareI respectfully disagree.
The glaring problem with this movie is that it was made in the first place.
What sort of a man doesn't carry a trowel?
