This movie deserves much better than a 3.0/10 rating

I personally think this movie at least deserves a 5.5/6.0 rating IMO, no it's not a great movie but I actually enjoyed this film a lot more than I've enjoyed Smokey 2

It's technically a terrible movie but you're right, I would watch this anyday over the lazy depressing draggy talky "we're making this only to cash in on the first film" part II. I get angry sometimes watching part II thinking how much better it could've been given the bigger budget and everyone from the cast returning.

Part 3 actually has a pretty good beginning and ending and some surprisingly touching parts (When Jr tells Buford he loves him and the fantasy sequence at the end with Burt) and much more chases and action than part II. It just gets REAAAAALLLY STUPID in the middle. Like brain numbingly stupid.

I also liked the banter between Jr and BTJ. "I'd rather have a dime" lol

I agree, the film is technically poorly and cheaply made. But Jackie Gleason is absolutely brilliant in it.
