Better than the second? Yes or no?
I think it was better than the second.
shareWhen I was little and saw all 3 - I thought 2 was the best due to the cars vs trucks scene at the end...however, as I've gotten older: obviously Part 1 is the best, hands down.
But Part 3 is slightly better than Part 2 - due to Gleason's comments - some of them are hilarious. You know what's always made me laugh in Part 3, perhaps you people can comment as well on this....
when they are trying to get out of MIami with the shark on the roof - there's a guy who walks by and says 'hey, you want some food for your fish?' and Buford flips him off....I LOVE that scene - its is funny as hell, I don't know why - but it is...
as is the 'not if you were sugar ray leonard' comment....
Agreed, 3 is funnier than 2. Even though 2 had Burt Reynolds and a higher budget is was completely bloated and boring and pretty much rendered inane by Dom Deluise. 3, while not a great movie either, is very breezy and enjoyable.
shareI'm glad I'm not alone in thinking this.
shareOne time just for the heck of it I watched all three films with a group of people who hadn't seen any of them and knew very little about them. They were a pretty objective and intelligent group. By far and overwhelmingly, they thought the first film was the best. By far and overwhelmingly, they thought Part 3 was better than Part 2. They liked Part 3 and thought Part 2 was lame and unentertaining.
shareEven though it was one of the first films I rememeber seeing (and in a drive in movie theater no less), Part 2 is my least favorite of the films. Part 3 is head and shoulders above 2, even though I much prefer the 2nd generation Firebird design to that crummy 3rd generation car.
The 2nd film just seemed dull and boring for the most part. The 3rd film actually had some good lines in it and Reed did the best he could. Colleen Camp is a knockout as well which doesn't hurt.
Conquer your fear, and I promise you, you will conquer death.

Do you think that Boris was more evil than Serleena? Why or why not?
