Song question at the motel scene?

What was the song that was playing at the motel, it was a pop/rock sounding tune and the only lines I remember was "Hey you, I wanna be your boyfriend".

I used to think the title of the song was "I Wanna Be Your Boyfriend"

If you listen closely ( or cheat like i did and turn on the captioning,lol ) you can hear the words Suzi Plastic in that scene. If you Google it,you get links to lyrics and some stuff on Youtube with the song.

I actually thought it was odd seeing a dance pop tune in the series that normally played country music but did find it to be a catchy song.
