Why watch this? THE SUTTON PLACE TOWNHOUSE.

In 1983, a playwright could, apparently, afford an entire historic townhouse right off the East River in one of the most expensive enclaves in Manhattan.

Tidbit: Marilyn Monroe (already a movie star) lived across the street from it when she was taking acting lessons from Lee Strasberg.

A great opportunity to see what having a cup of coffee in the kitchen overlooking the garden in one of these beauties is like! A real treat if you can get past all the grasscloth wallpaper and brown wall-to-wall carpeting.
