Another name that Ninja Movie
All I remember was I think it was a desert scene, and 3 or more ninjas rise up from out of the sand... Thats it, not much to go on.

it also sounds like Shogun Assassin (and whichever Lone Wolf And Cub film it was edited from), but that wasn't ninjas.
The sand from a desert or beach? If it was a beach, it was most likely a film called "Duel to the death" which has some of the best ninja scenes EVER. If it was the desert, it was probably A shaw bros film called "five element ninjas" aka Chinese Super ninjas. Hope this helps.
