Did anybody else besides me find Ashley Ferrare's character hot? That woman was smokin' and I can't believe Sho didn't want to be more than just a teacher to this woman. She definitely had an interest in him though. In this movie, what was your favorite scene with Ashley in it and tell why. I liked the scene where she and Cho are first training in the dojo. Sweeet!
shareMine is when Cathy is rescued by Kane after fighting Cathy's Tattooed Torturer. When Cathy calls the police for Lt. Dime, you can see her chest, even though she's wearing her wet shirt and panties. Now that's hot and sweet there.

Dude, you bet I'm glad somebody responded! Man, I'm glad somebody else besides me has seen this woman and wants to know what she's doing. You know, if they decide to do a special edition DVD of Revenge of the Ninja, they should have some of the main cast members do an audio commentary on this movie. I'd like to know what they're opinions were when they did this movie.
As for Cho, my jaw just dropped when he passed up a chance to hit on Cathy! I'm like, 'Dude, what are you thinking?' My guess was that he was the teacher and Cathy was the student and he wanted to keep their relationship on a professional basis. Plus, Cho was still in mourning about his love, Yoshi, who was attacked by ninjas earlier in the movie. Still, I think Cho should have tried to have a relationship with Cathy and see where it would go from there. He could be with another woman, but he wouldn't have to forget about Yoshi. Just as long as he keeps her in his heart and I'm sure Yoshi wouldn't want Cho to spend the rest of his life in sadness.

You guys must have been on crack when you watched this film. That woman looked terrible. I wanted to smack her in the face the first moment I saw her in that red bathrobe and those nylon stockings. She didn't even have any acting ability that could redeem her unattractive features.

Yo man, no doubt. How on earth can somebody say something like that about Ashley?! The reason of her being in that movie was to provide eye candy, nothing more! That's how movies in the 80s were like. Ashley was there to show off her body and look sexy. I doubt the makers of this movie were going for any academy awards or anything when they did this.

shareTechnically yes she does win. They trade blows equally thoughout the fight. Shane, who was very young at the time of this movie does some pretty cool moves with a wooden staff.
The kid has her dead to rights as the staff had a blade on the end of it which became exposed, but he turns his back on her, and then she picks him and carries him off.
I agree with you, Camille! "Cathy" wasn't all that hot. A little sexy maybe. But her acting did indeed SUCK with a Capital-S! So did her karate! That was obvious and hilarious when Kane outwitted and outmatched her on the practice mat! (If only Kane's karate yells weren't so annoying! He sounded like a whiney little brat. But his moves were awesome!) Braden's evil laugh and taunting was so contrived and phoney, it was annoying and pathetic and laughable in itself. But as a ninja, he could sure kick butt! (It was probably a stunt double, though.)

As for Cathy, cmon man, she was hot. You think she was in lingere 90% of the time because of her acting skills? She was eye candy and she did her job like a pro. Heh, heh.
I don't know why so many are interested in her current whereabouts though. I mean no disrespect to her, but people have to remember that beautiful girls trying to get movie roles are a dime a dozen in L.A. It was all the work she could get and after seeing her act, she was lucky to be cast at all. If I had to guess, she probably married a rich producer and has a family.
Well, Timber, when Caifano talks to the One-Eyed Informant, Braden grabs for his shuriken. Take a good look at his hands. The fingernails really belong to Sho Kosugi. He did his own ninja stuff on his fight with John LaMotta in the park bathroom, the star thrown into the Informant's other eye, blew a dart into Gino's back and drowned his lover in the tub with a katana sheath, wasted Granny Osaki in the practice room, in the roof top bout with Kane, garrotting Prof. Toru Tanaka's neck, the confrontation with Caifano's goons, and killing Hatcher.
When it comes to the rooftop battle, Eddie Tse donned Braden's ninja duds when Sho played Cho. Arthur Roberts just did the parts where he's unmasked and stuff. Looks like Arthur is not really a ninja in reality. lol
BTW, did you think Ashley looked cool in a twisty headband? I did.

She was ruined by those man-made tumors that someone wedged into her chest. Trade her two plastic bags of caulking compound for a pair of boobs of the same size or bigger and she would've been hot, especially in her wet tank top scene.
