Filmed In Downton Salt Lake City

I remember when I was like 7, my dad took me downtown to watch the ending of this movie being filmed, shot alot of scenes all up and down Main Street and State Street, but then they went to the top of the Roof the rest of the time they were there, we could watch on monitors from down in the lobby of the Merril Lynch building, but after a few days of that it kind of sucked, so I didnt want to go watch anymore, funny thing is when the movie finally was released there was no way in blue hell my mom would let me even think of seeing it, thank god for my dad!!! I think he wanted to see it so bad that he would have felt guilty going to watch it without me, being how badly I wanted to see it. pretty lame movie when I watch it now, but it was the *beep* back then!

Thanks for that info.

I've been wondering for years where the that final fight scene was filmed. It caught my eye because it was a major city, with mountains in the background.

By the way don't be ashamed of it. I liked it when I was a kid as well. I had never hear of a ninja until thta movie came out and after it, I could'nt get enough.

I lived in Salt Lake when this came out. My brother and I saw it at a local theater on opening night, and a lot of the cast (don't remember who) were there.

It's on Broadway on the same block as Ruth Chris Steakhouse.

LOL...I'm pretty sure all the actors in this movie never went anywhere. Just B movies actors at best!

Sho Kosugi did a few more movies but this was probably his biggest!

But it's supposed to be set in LA, right? I remember watching it as a kid and wondering why there was a mountain range in the distance during the final fight scene.

Kane Kosugi has a decent career in Japan as an action star and was good as the villain in Ninja 2.

"Death has come to your little town, Sheriff."
