trying to find an old ninja movie, need some help

i remember seeing an old ninja movie, kinda like it was shot in the 70s, or at least sometime near that decade, i dont remember much, but i remember one scene, maybe near the end, ninja takes a mans semi auto hand gun away, puts one bullet in the chamber(or at least that is what the ninja wants the camera to see) and hands it to someone who i think was evil, i dont remember if the guy went to shoot himself or to point it at the ninja, but when the trigger is pulled nothing happens, the bullet was palmed out of the gun before the slide was closed, would anyone know the name of that movie?
