We need this movie on Blu-Ray!!!
How come Ninja III Domination got a Blu-Ray release and this movie has not? Not to complain, but I think Revenge Of the Ninja deserves a proper Blu-Ray release as well. To me it's just a superior ninja film.

shareDear Slavic,
You are right. Not only that, it is THE superior ninja film.
Always, Joseph
Here here!
I agree that this needs to be on blu-ray. But if they do go for a blu-ray release, they really need to find the deleted scenes from the trailer and put em on the blu-ray edition. Or at least have some alternate language options on it for viewing.
you know I managed to find four versions of Revenge of the Ninja each with a different language dubbing on them.
But we definitely needto have this on blu-ray.
Dear spywatcher459,
I have owned the script for this film for about 10 and a 1/2 years. And what I observed is that they cut the movie to 90 minutes to make this your typical "popcorn film" where the target male audience goes to the theater to watch 90 minutes of violence. Unfortunately, it would be a movie miracle and obviously for you too if this happened with the deleted scenes. In this case, to have them added in the film. The deleted scenes that appeared in the trailer are virtually in the script. Many action films from the Cannon Group were usually between 90 to 100 minutes. This film would have a last been I would say between 105 minutes to 120 minutes with scenes in the script (which includes scenes in the trailer).
I hope the Shout Factory puts this one out SOON! But it doesn't look so yet! You have great taste.
Always, Joseph
Holy smokes! You got the script to this? Any chance you can send me a copy of it?
Yeah, I agree it would be nice if they could show the deleted scenes and explain why they were cut from the final release. This was one of my favorite ninja flicks as a kid and I enjoyed every minute of it.
If they ever have a petition for the release of the deleted scenes, I'll definitely sign it.
Thanks Joseph.
You know, I've loved this movie since I was a kid, and just today I realized you could see a few deleted scenes in the trailer. I want to see Braden with that bow & arrow, that was sweet.
I also want to see the last fight in full, because you can obviously tell they cut at one point as it goes from long sword to short when Braden dies. Also, the fight with the thugs at the park is all over the place.
I just wanted to add that I think this movie is the greatest ninja movie of all time! It blows my mind that nobody tried to do a proper blu-ray release yet. When I mean proper I mean the special edition of course with all the goodies they could get and include like the deleted scenes, trailers, maybe even behind the scenes featurettes, and stuff like that. An audio commentary track would be awesome. They should get Sam Firstenberg on board again and Sho Kosugi this time. I think if they did a good honest job on this blu-ray, then they could've even had good sales and profits from it. This movie just deserves it.
shareA Blu-ray with plenty of extras would be very awesome.
shareI asked Shout! Factory about other Cannon titles, such as "Avenging Force, "Enter The Ninja" and "Revenge Of The Ninja." According to Shout! Factory, they are not going to release any Cannon films anytime soon, because "Ninja III The Domination" only did average with sales.
shareThis actually is available on Blu-Ray. Amazon Germany carries it. I just received both it and Enter The Ninja. It's not a special edition by any means, but they're widescreen and in decent shape. You just need to have a player that will play Region B discs.
shareFinally my wish came true! Just saw it on blu-ray. Awesome.
