the picture seems soft during the max rebo band song in the original 1983 version
perhaps lighting problems in the dark lair of jabba. i'm no expert.
that being said, it makes it seem more alien or not of this earth to me, like someone brought a home video camera from earth to the planet and filmed what they saw.
