soundtrack sixties band

Hi,
I would find a fantastic killer garage beat tracks in this movie. I don't know the name of the band, but they played like Standalls or similar in the 60's Era.
I saw the movie only one time in Italy and I hadn't see the soundtrack title.
Someone could help me to know the band's name and song.
Thanks
Fabio

The one 60s song on there is Little Red Riding Hood by Sam the Sham & the Pharaohs doing their best Rolling Stones impression

I want Candy sounded 60's. But I don't know.

Were these gilrs over 18?

no more "reality" shows

"I Want Candy" is from 1982, and sounds quintessentially early 80's like Bananarama or The Go-Gos or even Adam Ant.

The 60's sound in the soundtrack is Sam the Sham singing "Lil' Red Riding Hood". Sam the Sham is most famous for "Woolly Bully" which is from 1965. Ridng Hood is from 1966.

I think Riding Hood sounds sort of like a lecherous take on Eric Burden and the Animals.

I Want Candy was originally a mid 60s hit for a group called The Strangeloves.

The Strangeloves, really? I remember that name. They had some hits that I cannot remember.

I Want Candy was done by Bow Wow Wow, in the 80s. I am pretty sure it was the version in this movie.

Its the end of the world as I knew it!!

That's correct. Bow Wow Wow did indeed do the early 80s hit version with that famous burundi beat that was also in this movie. The Strangeloves did the original version from 1965.
The Strangeloves other two hits were Cara-Lin and Night Time.
