Looking For Song Title
Can anyone tell me the name of the song that is played near the end of the movie, when Pheobe Cates and Matthew Modine's characters are about to have sex on the beach? I love that song.

shareThe name of the song is Just One Touch and its sung by Phoebe Cates and i cant think of the guy.
shareBill Wray, who plays the singer of the band early in the movie, wrote and sings this song with Phoebe.
shareSpeaking of the songs Phoebe sings on the soundtrack, I've been looking on Limewire for weeks now to find a copy of "How Do I Let You Know" and can't find it- anyone know where I could download it?
shareI recall that the "Private School" soundtrack album was labled a mini LP because it had only 6 songs on it. I bought it in 1985, but I no longer own it. I feel certain that by the mid-'80s, it was out of print.
Phoebe Cates had a semi-successful recording career in Japan and her music-- and the stuff from the soundtrack-- stayed in print there much, much longer. It was released on CD in Japan, but I'm fairly sure the soundtrack, here in the USA, was never issued on CD.
Finding someone who owns a good quality copy of the LP is tough; I mean, it's been nearly 25 years since the film was made!
What about the "So *beep* You" song during the opening titles? Is that the actual name of the song? And is it sung by Phoebe Cates or by someone else? And is there NO source that anyone is aware of that might sell copies of these things?
I'm afraid that I've had a lewd and lascivious Phoebe Cates Obsession ever since "Paradise" in 1982. She might not be one of the world's greatest singers--or one of the world's greatest actors, for that matter (though she's competent enough)--but she is, to me, the single prettiest and sexiest female that the human race has ever produced, bar none! And so I MUST compulsively acquire ALL things Phoebe! (Short of Phoebe Cates herself, of course, unfortunately!)
I had always loved that song. The title of it is "You're Breaking My Heart" by Harry Nilsson from Blackwood Music, Inc., or RCA Records.
There is no Soundtrack. Maybe I should complie the ones I am able to find and make one.
