shareI would not call this "Uncut" This is the alternate scenes used for the TV version. I would call this the clean version.
An example would be the film "GIA" there is a Rated R version and an Uncut NR version with more nudity.
This is the opposite of uncut, the R rated version was cut and replaced with these alternate scenes. So they could air this edited clean version on the USA Network.
This is the TV version with the nude scenes cut out, so you could say this is the cut version.
It's good that someone finally put the alternate scenes on youtube.
Hopefully someday they will release a real Uncut Not Rated Version.
You're right, they cut a lot of stuff. I stand corrected..I was so excited about the news that I wasn't careful with my choice of words! :)
shareMovies are edited FOR A REASON. By that I mean, there ws a reason why these "clean" scenes were cut out. Because he director didn't LIKE them.
When DVD's say "Unedited version" ot Not Rated version, it is just a way to get stupid people to think they are getting something special, when all they are really getting is several minutes that were deemed not good enough by the director.
TV often has to add these inferior scenes to fill up the 2 hour time slot. Especially movies that are going to have a lot of nude scenes cut out.
It was common practice with films featuring nudity in those days - and may still be for all I know - to shoot alternate scenes for a 'TV edit.'
