There are multiple shots in that scene. You see breasts and face in the same shots, but they are not Betsey Russell. The final shot is meant to let the mind think that it's Betsey. I wrote a post here entitled, "Riding Scene. There’s a stuntwoman and I think I know her name."
If you read my post about the riding scene, I go through why most of the shots are not Betsy Russell, but a stunt/body double, that I believe to be Jean Malahni. If you look at Malahni's photo at,

you will see the same breasts that you see in the shower scene as well as in most of the riding scene. Again, I don't want to be crude, but the two women's breasts are totally different. Like the body of the stunt woman, the breasts are sculpted.
In the last shot of the shower sequence, the woman in the shower starts to slide the shower door open. The edit then cuts to Bubba at the window. You don't see the face or the breasts of the woman as the door slides open.
After the cut to Bubba, you see Betsy Russell's gorgeous face. End of shower scene.

That was 100% Betsy Russell in the Riding Scene. She was nude right before she did the scene. You can watch it in slow motion and see her face.
Not to mention her fiance Marc Burg talks about her topless horseback riding scene on the saw 4 audio commentary dvd. I'm not sure about the shower scene if a body double was used. If you think she would not do nudity check out her movie Out Of Control or Tomboy. OR ask MR.SKIN if it was Betsy Russell Topless on the horse. also Celebrity Sleuth and Celebrity Skin Magazines both have had close up pictures of Betsy in that scene. I'm looking at one of the magazines right now Celebrity Skin March 23,1993 Collectors Edition No.23 It has a close up picture of Betsy Nude on the horse. There is no possible way that it could be a body double in that scene.

Please read my post carefully if you wish. You may disagree with my analysis. You've expressed subjective conclusions. You don't need to support your conclusions with analysis if you want to. The filmmakers did a good job of illusion sans CGI. They've convinced you. Look, it's a fun movie, that's all. I'm a film nut. People should not spend hours with the remote and researching each stunt person listed on IMDB just because someone on a post said that Betsy didn't do the shower scene.
Yes, that is Betsy Russell exposing her breasts at the beginning of the scene. I was trying to be subtle about the difference in the breasts. I didn't want to have to state this so obviously, but Betsy's breasts are natural and have an attendant sag. The rider/body double/stunt woman has enhanced breasts. If you care that much, please read my breakdown. I won't repeat my whole analysis, but it's a different face also. See the shape, the jawline, and the expression. Trace the two faces from your monitor.
I found independent supporting evidence on the identity of the person in the latter part of the scene. The stuntwoman involved talked about doing horsework in this movie and also worked as a body double doing nude scenes in a bunch of movies. If you look at the link I referred to in my post above, you will see that her breasts are enhanced and have the same shape as the woman in the shower scene and the second part of the riding scene.
You're right, there are vidcaps from the riding scene on websites. The closeups reveal the same thing I've gone this post and the shower post. Some of those pics are Betsy. The pics where the woman is totally topless and cantering are of the stuntwoman.
Betsey Russell was unbelievably sexy and beautiful in the film. Using a stuntwoman/body double doesn't take that away one bit.
It's your perogative to disagree. I'll leave the last word with you if you wish. I won't go any further to convince anyone of anything. It's a fun movie. That's all.

Here is my analysis, I just watched the film on DVD on a large HD TV screen.
I agree with part of your analysis, The shower scene could be a stunt woman with large DD size breasts. They do not show Betsy Russell's face during the nude shower scene. The shower scene is at 3:30 into the film. about 1 minute later at 4:58 into the film Betsy Russell does a full nude scene where Michael Zorek "Bubba" pulls of her towel through a window. If you have this on DVD and put it in slow motion during this scene you will see everything top & bottom nudity. Betsy Russell has very large natural breasts. I would say a large C to a full D cup size. Now for the horseback riding scene.
AT 18:23 into the film it starts with a stunt woman rider jumping on the horse over poles, this is probably Jean Malahni. I'm not sure if you were ever on a film set but it takes about a week of filming to do a scene like this. I would say this took about 5 to 7 days. At 20:12 into the film Betsy is on the horse and opens her top to expose her breasts, this is 100% Betsy Russell she has a brown thin belt and a hat on. At 20:24 a side shot on the horse I can't tell if it is betsy. At 20:31 a stunt woman playing actress Kathleen Wilhoite Pulls off Betsy Russell's top from behind, this is probably a stunt woman as Betsy Russell. At 20:38 a stunt man playing actor Michael Zorek "Bubba" rides beside what looks like a stunt woman with smaller size breasts and the same costume a hat & thin belt, it is a wide distance shot and you can't see the persons face very well. At 20:43 a close up shot of Betsy Russell riding the horse topless with her hair down and she is wearing a white belt. You can tell this was filmed on a different day and probably on a closed set. The horse was cantering and going fast Betsy Has natural large breasts and they are bouncing up & down If you watch this in slow motion on DVD you can tell they are not implants. Illusion CGI was not used on a B-Movie from 1983 "this was not Star Wars" or a Sci-fi movie. I have seen most of Betsy Russell's films and that is 1000000% Betsy Russell on the Horseback Riding Scene at 20:43 into the film with her hair down wearing a white belt. I have the March 1995 Issue of Playboy with a stunt woman named Jean Malahni she does not look like Betsy Russell and she has implants. Maybe she did the shower scene or maybe not. I think she did the Horse jump at 18:23 into the film. So the bottom line is there was a stunt woman on the horse in 1 or 2 scenes, distance shots. The close up full topless scene with the hair flowing in the wind on the horse cantering was Betsy Russell. The scene is on MR.Skin.COM and in many Magazines as one of Betsy Russell best nude scenes. Her fiance Marc Burg even talks about her bareback riding scene on the Saw V Audio Commentary DVD during her scenes in the movie.
Another great scene with Betsy is at 1:15.33 into the film. The scene with Michael Zorek "Bubba" Spills a drink on Betsy to get her out of her clothes. Betsy is in a see through bra. It looks like she has DD breasts in this scene.The same size as in the shower scene. "I wonder if that was her in the shower" I guess we will never know for sure. But with all the other nudity that she did in the movie why would she not do that scene. All I know is that is 1000000% Betsy Russell riding nude on the horse. Obviously you have never been on a movie set if you think a scene like that takes a week to shoot. A movie like this was probably shot in its ENTIRETY in 6 weeks. So no...they are not going to spend 16% of that on one scene. I don't even know why you THINK it would be a hard scene to shoot.

There is something wrong about your CGI theory guy. See back in the 80's they did not have as good of CGI like they do now. What you are thinking of if they did this during the filming of the movie was use the cinematographer very well to make it a optical illusion for you to think it was Betsy Russell when it was actually her stunt double in the scene instead.
I do think that in some parts of the film they had to use Betsy Russell to make it more realistic. If they did not then it would not be worth going to see the movie or watching it if one of the actresses in the movie is not doing a nude scene.

Gattocinese must be high because the stunt woman doing the jumps on the horse has small breasts, Betsy Russell has much larger breasts than her. He is very confused and thinks CGI was used. The producers of the film are not going to use an actress to do jumps on a horse. For insurance reasons etc. Betsy Russell did 98% of the nudity in the horseback riding scene. The distance shots of the horse jumps are a topless stunt woman with small breasts. Gattocinese thinks the body double in the beginning shower scene of the film with very large breasts is a stunt woman, and thinks the same body double was used on the horse with CGI. They would not use CGI to cover Betsy Russell's face during a horseback riding scene and use a stunt woman. This Gattocinese admits in his post that "yes, that is Betsy Russell exposing her breasts at the beginning of the scene" If she did the nudity already why would they need to use CGI to cover her face and use a stuntwoman to do the nude scene ? It does not make any sense. Not to mention she admits to doing the scene.
Betsy Russell mentions the scene that she did in an interview on Youtube.
Mr.Skin has the same scene of Betsy russell with no mention of CGI.
I have read about the scene in a few magazines over the years with no mention of CGI. Anyone that buys the DVD that has vision can see that is Betsy Russell riding topless on the horse, and for a few seconds during the jumps there was a stuntwoman used. The woman in the shower scene is not the stuntwoman on the horse,she has much larger breasts. I do not know if it was betsy russell or not doing the nude shower scene, as they did not show her face and body at the same time during the shower scene. The bottom line is CGI was not used and Betsy Russell 100% did the Nude Horseback Riding Scene.

Actually, gattocinese clearly says that there WASN'T CGI used. Maybe you don't know what the word "sans" means.
What all of you are apparently not understanding is that there are different reasons for body doubles. One would be for nudity, and the other would be for stunts. Even something as mundane as riding a horse. Eve just riding slowly might be considered too much for Betsy Russell is she doesn't normally ride a horse and there is no reason to teach her. If she gets hurt, it shuts down the movie. The insurance company wouldn't allow that. And even if she doesn't get hurt, if she can't handle a horse well, then she wouldn't be able to hit her mark take after take and the shooting would take forever. So they get someone trained in riding horses.

You are not a film nut if you think that they had the ability to use a body double back then in scenes where you clearly saw both face and breasts.
Not to mention how Betsy Russell HERSELF has said it was her.

It's funny when MR. Skin gave Betsy Russell's bareback riding scene one of the best nude scenes of all time in film. Mr. Skin never mentioned Jean Malahni or CGI. Betsy Russell is not a stunt woman, the stunt woman had to be nude to do the stunt. 99% of the nudity in the horseback riding scene was Betsy Russell.

MOST of the shots are her. She was not using a BODY double but a STUNT double, which is obvious, and would be mandatory by the insruance company.
Most of the shots with the stunt double didn't even show nudity. Most of that scene was her fairly close up where you really couldn't see the horse (just a head) and she probably wasn't actually ON a horse. And that absolutely is her.
