I love this movie! I love it because of the shenanigans of Bubba!This movie would not have the following it does with out him. Face it, everything that is funny in this movie is attributed to Bubba!

I don't know that it would have bombed without Bubba. Even without him it still would have had Betsy Russell riding topless on a horse and seducing Matthew Modine in her underwear.

Let's face it, this masterpiece is greater than the sum of its parts. Remove one ingredient--Bubba, Betsy--and it collapses like a souffle.

BETSY RUSSELL is the main reason to watch Private School, Her bareback riding scene is what people remember most about private school.
Don't get me wrong Bubba was great in the film.
Betsy's scene is on MR.Skin.com as one of the best nude scenes in film of all time.

I have to agree with you on that because that is the only main reason why I remember Private School is due to Betsy Russell horseback riding topless. That part I loved in this movie!

Michael Zorek was hilarious as the rowdy Bubba. I busted a gut watching the sequence when he was stuck in the sauna with Miss Dutchbok.
"We're all part Shatner/And part James Dean/Part Warren Oates/And Steven McQueen"
Actually, I don't believe the film was a big hit anyway.
