Watching the trilogy

I've heard that this sequel is pretty much crap. For God's sake, Porky isn't even in it!

So does it make much of a difference if you see the first movie and then just skip to Porky's Revenge (if you can find it)? Is there any real important information in this movie that one needs to know for Porky's Revenge?

reply

No. PORKY'S REVENGE ignores this movie completely. But it's still a fun movie.

im not sure how PR ignores the first sequel, but i guess i wont say your wrong...there are continuity errors in the trilogy...like how mickey is doing just fine after being on deaths door a few days prior to the kids scheme to destroy porkys club.

maybe its goof that honeywell was fired so quick, and the other coach but,its not a terrible one...maybe they did things quick,so its not totally implausible..and i doubt theyd wanna fight it in the spotlight instead of quietly slinking away:P

the thing that strikes me funny is,porkys is called the original American Pie, and there are similarities

obviously they were extremeley raumchy for the times of there releases, with a first sequel that was wild and crude, but still kind of more tame than the original, and then we get to the third installements...which in both trilogy's (im ignoring band camp and naked mile,ha) there seems to be people missing with not even one line to say why

Mickey & his cop brother...whered they go?
Oz and vicki...gosh..anyone here from them?

so yeah...one last comment, the PORKYS REVENGE soundtrack kicks @$$,say waht u want aboutthe movie but...its incredibly upbeat, and even the slower songs by Willie Nelson, Jeff Beck & George Harrison are good

but come on...like High School Nights doesnt work the nostalga for ya?
and dont get me started on THE CRAWLING KING SNAKES...with Robert Plant off Led Zeppelin and Phil Collins from Genesis...wow
Stagger Lee, Peter Gunn Theme and Blue Suede Shoes also rock:P

That is my one PORKYS post...for now

When I was younger, the only scene I really liked, was the graveyard scene, but as I got older, I watched it again a few years ago, and liked it a little better overall.
