Shakespeare inappropriate for high school students?

Are they serious? Are there really nuts like this in real life that see Shakespeare's plays as being smut or something?

Apparently some Shakespeare plays had lots of violence and sexuallity.

So did the mimes, and theirs was real, it wasn't just written down on paper and acted out.

The whole point is that the "flock" were a bunch of religious zealots that used their bibles to beat down anyone who disagreed with them. You werent supposed to agree with their position.

I think it was trying to make fun of these religious fanatics who see filth in anything and don't even bother to look at the stuff. And there are plenty of people today who dump on films without even bothering to see the film first.

I thin that's reminiscent of the bible thumpers in the 80's who said heavy metal was satanic.
