The Curtis House - project to rehab

In case you'd not heard, there is a movement to save the Curtis house from the movie. A group just purchased it, and is attempting to restore the home to its original greaser glory, and to turn it into a historical landmark.

They have both a Facebook page (The Outsiders House) and a GoFundMe page (https://www.gofundme.com/auwr473q).

I've been checking it out. They post frequent updates on the progress of the remodel, plus a lot of interactions with locals who were involved in the movie. They've gotten a lot of local press as well. It's really quite interesting.
