Unintelligent Knockoff

I so remember my love for horror films back with I was an early teen in the 80s and distinctly remember this one so when it came on TV a few days back I took the time to record it. Upon viewing it I was amazed at the different 20 or so years makes. I was also surprised at how many people seem to like this movie. This is hack filmmaking at best that tooks its premise from earlier, more successful films with disconnected stories such at Twilight Zone the Movie and the way more stylish and fun Creepshow. These stories want too hard to be taken seriously so when they are told they just make me laugh. On the other hand the latter 2 movies I mentioned started off on sort of a fun hyper real note. Knowing it was the 80s and all I still and did back then laugh at the devil rat story. It's like a bad student horror flick. "Say, let's put Ricky's pet mouse in front of a green screen and tell a story with that." Don't waste your time with this one is what I say.
