and best of all, there would be no 'Battle of the Bonds'.
Then again, "Octopussy" did not just need a new, younger actor playing 007 -
it needed a better script, pace and direction, equal to "For Your Eyes Only".
As for "A View To A Kill"...it badly needed Timothy Dalton as Bond, full stop!

shareI mean you can't just replace Moore with Dalton and make everything okay. It's fundamentally flawed. Bad Bond actor, but also bad plot, bad villain, bad Bond girl, bad everything. The only redeeming feature was the chase scene with the fire truck.
