I just saw this movie and it left me with a big questionmark over my head.

Perhaps I missed it but why did SPECTRE steal the bombs in the first place? To shop them to some godforsaken north-african nowhere?

Really i dont understand it.

Hold the world for ranson. Take the bombs some place safe, until the countries pay them. If no ransom paid, the bombs will go off. One in Washington, the other probably in North Africa.
