How smokin' hot The Bassinger was back in the day?

Watched this last night for the first time in about twenty and while, yes, it's largely pretty naff (though enjoyable), KB is the bomb.

Example, that thing where Bond pretends to be her masseur in order to pump her (yes, i went there) for information: Now, that sht where she realises and looks, hurt, cross, confused and then finally like 'damn that incorrigible stranger!' all in the space of a few seconds, I wouldn't say it was particularly fine acting, but it sure as hell was pretty.

Also, big love to the swim suit with the print of the lion on it in the very last scene. Daman woman I could watch you turning over in the water in that thing all day long.

Carrerra was awesome too.

I agree....I thought this film was vastly underrated, best since TSWLM, AND best since OHMSS if you kept going. But I'm a big Connery-as-Bond guy. And I have been head over heels for Kim Basinger since the eighties. Although I think she was fine in NSNA, I won't disagree with those who say she isn't normally very good (with a few exceptions), but OMG, what a stunner! Head to toe, perfect package.

Not really, because she was a pretty big crush of mine when I was younger. So I've always remembered how hot she was. Personally though, I thought she was much more attractive as she got a little bit older, like late 80's into the 90's. When she was younger, like in this movie, she's obviously beautiful. But I thought she was looking her best by Batman and in movies like Cool World, Final Analysis, The Getaway, Wayne's World 2, L.A. Confidential, etc. I'd take Kim at 35 or 40 over Kim at 20-30. Obviously I wouldn't turn my nose up at a 20 year old Kim Basinger though.
