Cher bought it from Tony Curtis in 1972 for only $750k! Once considered the largest home in Los Angeles, it sits on over 10 acres of land in prime Holmby Hills (directly across the street from the mansion Michael Jackson died in). In 1975, Sonny & Cher divorced--Cher got the house and sold it a year later for $950k. Today the property is valued at ~$100 million.

That was the steal of a lifetime. She should've held onto it! Now you can barely get a 1-bedroom condo in that area for $750k. Insane how far our government has deflated the value of our currency.
