I remember this movie as one of two movies I would love to see, but I was too young at the time. Like "the Tutor" this movie was left home alone with this french sitter and this butler. At one point the women pretended to die. Does anyone know what this movie was?

I think the movie you're thinking of is Private Lessons with Howard Hessman (WKRP in Cincinatti) and Sylvia Kristle (Emmanuelle movies)
