Mr. Mom DVD
Someone needs to take notice! The DVD of 'Mr. Mom' is pathetic on all counts. There's not even a widescreen transfer. This movie made Michael Keaton and was a huge hit. What gives?

shareYeah I agree, they should have had a better DVD transfer than this one.

I think they should make an updated DVD, too. They should have an audio commentary with the director and cast members (kind of a reunion).

With all due respect to you and jcwbluedevil who wrote that Night Shift made Michael Keaton,
Michael Keaton was made by a life of significant experiences, overcoming significant obstacles, and giving credit whenever and werever credit is due.
Otherwise, how would it make sense that of all the hundreds of people who have been associated with MisteRoger's Neighborhood on PBS, it was he who hosted the tribute to Fred Rogers last year.
It was Mr. Rogers who gave Michael Keaton his very first screen role, as himself. And it was Michael Keaton's life experiences that got Mr. Rogers to invite him back, not just for one followup episode, but for a pair of back-to-back episodes.
Michael Keaton built his screen career from there, and, unlike so many who never looked back, he was always first to acknowledge how he became as famous as he is.
brightfamouscucumber, are you related to Michael Keaton in some way? Because I can't imagine anyone else replying to this thread in such a manner. His gratitude toward Fred Rogers is certainly interesting, but you're wrong if you think anybody saw the trailers for Mr. Mom (or Night Shift) and thought, "oh, that's that guy I like from Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood."
Hardly the point of this thread; I want a sweet DVD version of Mr. Mom. The people with the power to make this happen are totally blowing it.
