What is the stuff he is cooking?
Does anyone know what the hell he is cooking in that pan that puffs up as soon as he throws it in there??
shareThose were puffy noodles. It is a version of stir-fry noodles originating from China. They are available at most any supermarket or grocery store. You heat oil inside a cooking vat and drop in the raw noodles. They immediately puff and enlarge as they did in the film. Then you remove from the oil and serve with stir-fry or salad. They're actually quite tasty. :)
