Did they make a TV sitcom version of Mr. Mom?

I swear I remember this being made into a TV sitcom. It seems like they used the same bathroom-blowdryer-baby idea for the print promos, just with a different cast.

But I see no mention of it here. Was it just a pilot that was never picked up? Some other old-timer must remember this as well...

Bill Maher was on Jay Leno tonight and made reference to when they both auditioned for the part of Mr. Mom for the TV show. I tried finding some info about the TV show, but no luck. Maybe you're right that it was a pilot that was never picked up, or maybe it never aired at all?

Well, after thinking about it for some time I now remember that it was the TV version of "Baby Boom" with Kate Jackson that used the bathroom-blowdryer-baby idea for their print ads. Though I still say there must have been a TV version of "Mr. Mom" even if it never made it past the pilot stage.
