David Hasslehoff in Mr. Mom??!!

Jack (Michael Keaton) gets hooked on 'The Young and the Restless'. It's a pretty funny subplot. Anyhow, in the movie, Jack is following the drama between 'Victor' and 'Kevin' and 'Nikki'- this is real 'Young and the Restless' stuff from that time period.

I was curious: All of these 'Y&R' characters are staples in the series; different actors have come in to replace others in these roles, and the characters live forever. David Hasslehoff played the 'Kevin' character in the 'Young and the Restless,' and he played him for a while- up until some time in 1982. 'Mr. Mom' was released in '83. Do you think that the 'Kevin' character referred to in Mr. Mom as they watch 'The Young and the Restless' was being played by Hasslehoff at that period in the series. If so, that would be kind of funny to me. You can kind of see Kevin for a little bit on the TV but I just can't tell. If Mr. Mom was filmed in '81 or '82 then it's pretty safe to call Kevin being Hasslehoff, but if it was filmed late in '82 or in '83 for some reason or something like that, then I dunno what to think. I don't know sh*t about how long it took to make Mr. Mom, so. . . .yeah. As you can see, I'm pretty concerned about all of this.

Wow I see the above was written 4 yrs ago and no one has posted a reply to this. So I dont know if the original poster will read this but David Hasselhoff did not play the Character Kevin on Young & the REstless. He played Dr. Snapper Foster and his character was never involved with Nikki. The Kevin that she was involved with was played by actor Christopher Holder. So most likely the Kevin you kinda of see is Christopher not David Hasselhoff.

I guess from reading the comments about the characters being staples in the series you would know that David played Snapper Foster which is such an unusual name that it is hard to forget. William Gray Espy orignated the role and then David played it next. I think they are the only 2 actors ever to have portrayed it. I used to watch the show and I vaguely remember the Kevin role or the love triangle between her and he and Victor.

But seems I do remember he was not a good guy and since you mentioned the Kevin is a skunk line that probably fits Kevin but the character of Snapper was not a skunk. He was a good guy throughout the soap.

After researching it some I found out Nikki was married to Kevin Bancroft. I do barely remember that and yes he was a bad guy. She didnt have children by him though. She had her only 2 children by Victor.
