Monty Python Tribute video. (link inside)

This video is by Youtuber Monkey And Apple. He was asked earlier this year to do a tribute to Monty Python for the special features of the DVD release of the upcoming documentary Monty Python: Almost the Truth. He choose to do a take off of the Dead Parrot sketch, substituting a baby for the parrot. Unfortunately he recently received notification that the section that this video was slated to be in was dropped from the final product. So now it's on Youtube for all to enjoy. And I hope you do ;-)

Umm...no.

I mean no disrepsect to Mr.'s Monkey and Apple, but that was not funny and not Python. Why would anyone even consider making that? The original sketch is funny because the pet store owner (based on an auto mechanic) simply refused to acknowledge that there was anything wrong with the parrot he sold Mr. Praline, when it was clearly dead. This video-and I can understand why it's not on a Python DVD-has nothing to do with that and is instead just sick and in no way funny.

I'm sorry if you meant well, but it isn't likely that anyone involved did.

If you were offended in any way by the preceding post, go make one yourself.

It was HIS take on a Python sketch, not a carbon copy. His style is darker and they wanted him to do it in his way. The reason it was not on the dvd was not because they didn't like it, they did, they just cut out the whole section that it was supposed to be in for other reasons.
