My suggestion "Box Of Moonlight" with John Tuturro and Sam Rockwell.

Left me with a similar feeling to LOCAL HERO (though of course not as great a movie).

John plays a systematic stuck up office manager who re-finds how to live through man-child Sam Rockwell he is stuck with.

Any others?

For more big city guy finding that maybe a quiet life might be more to his liking, try Doc Hollywood or A Good Year.

"Outsourced" with Josh Hamilton has a similar vibe.
