"7435 Happer" was discovered in 1992 by Robert McNaught, who has discovered over 60 comets, and already has more than 50 comets that he discovered named after him (including a couple very famous ones, such one of the brightest comets ever seen in the southern hemisphere).

This wikipedia article says he wanted to name one after Felix Happer:
