shareThank you for your comment. I really enjoyed going there - I had wanted to do that for years. It was a bit of a nuisance though that the location of the beach and village were so far apart in road miles.

Absolutely brilliant! Thank you for flagging them. Having just been back to Camusdarach, it was lovely to see it again. When I saw your picture of the road to Glenuig, I thought that's the road to Glenuig - the road that was built in 1966 when I was first there!

It had been so long since I went to Scotland (I live in Kent) and I loved spending two weeks driving around all the old roads that improvements and bridges over lochs subsequently by-passed. Add film locations for Local Hero and Monty Python and the Holy Grail and I was in heaven!

Thanks for your comment. I suppose if you live in England, Scotland is not too far away. But it still took me 30 years to do it.
