Just watched it on Netflix streaming. Looks like a rip of the laser disc. The sound is horrible (I found myself turning it way up to hear dialog and then way down when action occurred). I think it totally holds up and I still love it after all these years.
Me too! I'm a huge F. Paul Wilson fan, and though I know he doesn't like the film, I love it. If it had a different soundtrack it would be even more awesome.
The Tangerine Dream soundtrack is one of the best in existence in my opinion, so I don't think any change is needed there.
This movie is amazing, and it seems like Netflix is adding more and more OOP movies to their streaming catalog. Terrorvision, and Arena were added which makes me very happy.
I'm not the kind of person to say atodaso, but you know what? Atodaso, I fvcking atodaso. - Ricky
While I don't like the TD soundtrack to The Keep, I love their soundtrack for "Legend." I just can't stand to watch the movie with the alternate, more classical sounding soundtrack (which is available on the collector's edition DVD). I will agree that Netflix is adding great 80s films. I just saw Terrorvision the other day for the first time in forever. Also, I just added Waxwork and Night of the Demons to my queue.
Aww man, you beat me to the punch as I was getting ready to post the same thing! I was at my friend's house last night browsing his selection of Netflix movies on his XBox 360, when I saw this pop up! Yes! Maybe this will be how we can watch some of our favorite movies that never made the jump to dvd.
