Which soundtrack album has the exact film version of Canzone?

I've heard several versions of the soundtrack and in all of them, the piece entitled "Canzone" which plays when Dr. Cuza is taking the cross out of the cavern and Glaeken is climbing the cliff, is a much diluted version that is far less powerful than that heard in the film.

Has the film version of Canzone ever been released? Do I have to be content with recording it from the movie? This is a truly magnificent and heroic piece of music that is almost Napoleonic in its majesty. I've been wanting to get it for decades.

No, it is not available. I agree it's one of the highlights of the score. The officially released recording sounds awful. Almost as if it was SAMPLED from a recording of the film itself and looped. There are strange clips and what sounds like a fragment of a sound effect at the climax. Plus it has that "Tangenized" wash of sound that removes the stark beauty of the piece.

Maybe one day we'll get it!
