I hope Scream Factory puts out the Blu-Ray.

If Universal releases the Blu-Ray, it’s probably going to be a bare-bones release with the trailer as it’s only extra. Scream Factory on the other hand has done great work on their BR releases for 70’s and 80’s horror films, providing versions that are far superior to the versions put out by the parent company. As a big fan of this movie (I’d call it my favorite guilty pleasure film), I’d love to see Scream Factory put together a nice release for this film.

Me too! With hopefully a 3D option, but i can live without that. Jaws 2 and The Revenge need a release too in my opinion. I mean, i don't think any sequel lives up to the first Jaws. But i find each installment after the original to be a hilariously great time.

Universal put out a really nice DVD for “Jaws 2”, so if they released the Blu-Ray, they would probably carry over all the bonus material for the BR. That being said, there was room for improvement which Scream Factory would probably correct if they handled the BR (audio commentary, all the deleted scenes, interviews with the actors). They’d have to put out a really good edition of “Jaws The Revenge” for me to even consider buying that one.
