caught this on IFC awhile back. thought the premise was interesting a shark in sea world that kills people say no more im in. and then on top of that laughable moments. such as Dennis Quaid hijacking a go cart and racing madly through the park to warn others about the shark. only to swerve out of the way into the bushes to narrowly miss a mom and her stroller. this had me in tears laughing. and lets not forget TEST THE SAFETY LINE (shows tugging on piece of string). i enjoyed this movie immensely and have since bought the dvd. its one of those so bad its good. or in this case so not scary its a comedy.

After they first discover the mother shark, that entire sequence is gold. Mike stealing the cart, the kids then scrambling for the popcorn, the guy who didn't want to get out of the water getting punched, Mike grabbing the guys microphone and pulling him in the water, the hilariously bad overhead shot of the shark behind the skiers (it looks like the shark is moving about 3 mph in a swimming pool), and then inexplicably, none if the skiers who fell in the water right in front of the shark are attacked. Good stuff.

Yeah, I had a blast watching this. The last 10 minutes or so were awful, but otherwise it was great and I enjoyed it more than the second part.

Very good. But brick not hit back!

totally agree. that freeze frame at the end though was something else.
