Growl?

I remember being totally disgusted with this movie when it first came out, and wondered why any of the top three actors would participate in such junk, but after watching it again, 33 years later, I am more inclined to see it is being campy. Whether or not it was meant to be campy, I really don't care, but it was fun to watch again.
My biggest (okay one of my biggest) complaints is the shark growling! Grrr! It made me laugh out loud, though!
Hey, if Cabin Fever can become a cult classic, this should be too.

This movie was originally planned to be a parody. I think instead they decided to make it a campy, silly sequel in name and the Brody family only. They honestly didn't have to make Dennis Quaid and the guy who played Sean the Brody brothers. They could've been anyone.

It also growled in parts 2 and 4, so if that is your criticism, you must knock the other films down a peg, as well.

I will have to pay attention to the others, as I never noticed it in them. I guess it's kinda like explosions in space.

In Jaws 2, when the older Brody kid fell in unconscious, the shark swoops by above water.

In Jaws IV, the whole conclusion scene... the shark kept breaching the surface and roaring all over the darn place.
