When jaws was approaching the underwater control room right near the end


and when he broke the glass. They must have gotten Spielberg back on board to create those visuals specially, it looked amazing.

This scene was a wonderful blend of animatronics and cutting edge CGI, and still holds up today, seamlessly.

If i recall, PETA got involved because they watched it and suspected the film-makers propelled a real Great White shark through the glass.

Agreed. It really was stunning, and in particular the shot when the glass fractured. The physics were so perfectly fluid.

Yeah, I was so amazed by it in the theater, I thought that it was so well executed, it would look just as good on TV without 3-D!
