Great atmosphere, costumes, sets. Story is cliched, slow as molasses and predictable. It was great to see Peter Boyle, and especially Elisha Cook, from The Maltese Flacon and many other classics.
I expected more from Winders.
Definitely. I regret this being my first Wenders film. Gotta wash that taste out of my mouth with some Paris, Texas (got the Criterion release).
