Dan's fate (possible spoilers)

Do you think Dan made it out of the gas station alive? What about Walter. Walter was nearer to do the door than Challis was but I like to think that 'if' he saw the same thing that he saw happen with the Kuphers, he could have easily made it out of that station. What do you think happened to Walter and Dan (hospital, psychiatric facility, arrested, etc).

Serious replied only please!

reply

I think Dan survived.

reply

I think he did as well. His wife also may have survived but doubt the kids did. This event may have brought them together again. What about Walter though?

reply

I'm sure he did too.

reply

Good question. I think Dan would've bolted once he realized the sh!t had well and truly hit the fan. I'd like to think he would've yanked Walter out the door with him and they could make their escape in Walter's truck.

Or Dan could have, ya know, put the phone down and shut off the tv, thereby putting an end to their quickly worsening situation, not to mention saving the lives of the kids who had gathered around to watch the big giveaway.

As for what became of Dan and Walter, they stopped long enough to grab a couple sixers of High Life and some clothes that could hold out for however long they'd be on the run (plus one more day) and hightailed it to safety.

Or they ended up in the looney bin.

reply

I think they both survived.

As for the aftermath, Dan was still a doctor so he probably had his hands full of some with some bleeped up kids with all kinds of head injuries depending on those who got their masks off in time.

AND don't forget some adults were wearing masks too

reply

you're all alive and well aren't you?

that was a goddam mess!

drank myself a case after that nightmare

reply

Way to go Dan.

You are probably still exhausted from those poor fatherless women from the aftermath aren't you

reply

my buddy from Philly put it best: Women weaken legs (and sometimes spew orange blood) - my women chasing days were over after that

besides, old Dan has learned that older women don't want the hassle either - no strings, just the High Life

reply

Of course Walter and Dan survived; They weren't wearing masks! LOL. Only bugs and snakes came out of the children's head that were wearing masks. They didn't explode or catch on fire! LOL.

However, Dan had some 'splaining to do. Now that the factory was burned down, and all the robots were destroyed (as explained earlier when Dan's forensic friend was going through the remains of the burned car), he doesn't have any proof that he wasn't responsible for what happened. Why would the authorities blame him? Why not? They have to point the finger at someone.

i have corroborated accounts by the tv stations, a lot of people died, but I also was able to still save hundreds of thousands

reply

Thank you for that. Nicely done. 2 out of 3 stations is not bad. You got some of them to STOP IT!!!! LOL

Indeed. It's nice to be able to joke around and have fun, as long as you know when to STOP IT!!!!

i imagine there would be a scenario where Challis and Loomis interacted - especially if Challis saved the world via calling in TV stations (chuckling at the thought of this) - perhaps they uncover an unholy alliance between Thorn and Silver Shamrock? Perhaps Cochran served someone / something even more sinister than himself?

reply

Had they not used Halloween in which Loomis is the star, on TV as part of the Big Giveaway at 9, then yes, it would've been cool, but that alone separates universes as much as Scream separated itself from the Myers-verse by showing the movie on TV as well. Furthered by H20's Scream 2 cameo. Sadly, Challis, Loomis and Ghostface do not inhabit the same universe. But maybe Ghostface and Challis just might...another Shamrock mask? A whited out stretched version of the Goblin mask? The possibilities....
