Surprised they didn't give this one the 3d treatment
Cause around that time we had Friday part 3 in 3d, jaws 3d, etc

shareToo expensive and risky. Both of those films didn't even come close to making back their budgets, neither did Amityville 3D which is why 3D didn't make a comeback until recently. And they all had the main advertised character or establishment of the previous films. Friday had Jason, Jaws had the shark and Amityville was still the house. Whereas Halloween III didn't have Michael. It really would've made it worse and there would've only been a handful of scenes where it would've been worth it. The bugs, the misfire, etc.
"He came home." - Dr. Sam Loomis from the original HalloweeN
Both of those films didn't even come close to making back their budgetsI thought both those films turned a big profit, no?
I know Romero is coming back around to his Dead films to do this - he just did a limited showing of Dawn 78' in 3D - I heard that was excellent, but extremely time consuming.
If not in 3D, what I would really love would be able to sit in one of those D-box seats, and have the thing vibrate and scare the *beep* out of me during the normal 2D showing
