A lot of the crap you buy in stores has been made months...sometimes even several years beforehand. Most places manufacture a bulk lot at one time that's good for several shipments before spending the money to re-arrange the manufacturing process for a different product.
shareHalloween things are still sold a few days after Halloween in the United States because of Día de los Muertos, a Mexican holiday which is similar to Halloween. Begins in October 31st and ends in November 2nd. My parents refer to late October and early November as Halloween week for that reason.
