Deleted scene?

On the back of the VHS cover theres a shot of a scene that is not seen in the film. It shows Ed Reese laying on a bed with three go-go gals, one of them possibly a transvestite.

However in one scene that does appear when Ed Reese rejects Sal's offer to film his daughter's wedding, Sal warns him of a film reel showing a certain hotel activity and that Ed Reese somehow is involved. Apparently Ed feels blackmailed so he greenlights Sal's offer.

So my guess is, a scene deleted showed Sal catching Ed in an act of infidelity when Sal coincidentally or not was at the hotel also. If they were to include this scene in the special features of a DVD they probly wouldnt put it in the Walmart $2 bin.

Any info?

I just got the DVD collection of John Candy today featuring 3 of his movies, Uncle Buck, The Great Outdoors, and Going Berserk. The Going Berserk is in it's own DVD while the other two are in one DVD. I've never watched the other two but i've seen Going Beserk when i was little.

There isn't a Chapter Selection on the DVD and i notice that some scenes have been reduced. There showed more when i saw this movie on TV many years ago, and now that i got the DVD, i'm a bit disappointed, but it's all good, i recorded the movie to vhs when i saw it on tv and i still got it i didn't know about that deleted scene that you referred, and now that i read it, it would make the movie a whole lot of sense about Mr. Reese and his property with his name on it.
