Yes, I agree. One of my all-time favorites and really a fun and funny movie. John Candy is in top form.

where else can you get great dialogue like that?

i'd orginally rated this film a "5"...
but then, i remembered that, even though i think it's disjointed (technically) in places - and some of the gags run on too long - there are more than enough laughs in it to merit a "7." and, of course, candy (and eugene levy, to a certain extent) carries the movie from start to finish.

Levy's antics during the wedding ceremony kind of reminded me of Bowfinger! Seems like GB may have influenced Bowfinger, but not sure.
