Help me win a bet, PLEASE!

My boyfriend and I have had an ongoing bet for about five years. The pay off keeps going up.. Is Eddie saying "Goonie Goo-GOO " ??? OR " Goonie Goo--HOO" ??? I think it's goo-goo, He INSISTS it's goo-hoo...Someone, anyone, please respond! Also, if anyone knows a website where I can pull up that sound bite, it will help seal the deal,as I doubt he will even believe anyone's opinion.. By the way, this was Eddie Murphy at his BEST... RAW does not compare to the laughs from this one. Thanks!!!

I've seen it probably about 100 times and I think it's goo-hoo and my roommate agrees with me

I've listened to a cassette tape, I made from a rented VHS when I was 17, over 100 times. I'm %99.999 sure he's saying goonie-goo-GOO.

Although my friend STILL says " It's the PRONUNCIATION that counts", I told him that the transcript is written how Eddie pronounced the words . example "mutha" ect... HA HA to Jesse !!!! I don't know how much stock I'd put into that transcript. In the very first line there is a mistake. This guy has written that Eddie says, "Two times, far two times". That doesn't even mean anything! Who would say that! What Eddie is saying is "Too kind, far too kind". But it is goonie-goo-goo.

hey I might be a little late with this, but I could have sworn there was a L at the end of it, like goonie google, but I donno I haven't seen it in a while, I did used to watch it religiously tho...either way thats my 2 cents

Thanks to everyone's response!! I need to get off my procrastinating ( boy, that was a long word, on Sterling Merlot) procastinating ass, and buy the D.V.D. That way I can pause, rewind, on,and on.. I'll let you all know the outcome, payoff , ect.... to a point.... ANYWAY, thanks again.. I'll keep in touch.. And Eddie, if you read this, give me your input.. hee hee..

Yeah, no kidding. That is definitely not an "official" script or transcript, it is just one cat who listened and tried to transcribe it. There are some brutal mistakes on that website, such as....

Umm, that would be a GREEN bitch, I have no clue what a DREAM bitch is?

But in any event, I have heard this album no less than 30 times, and have a bootleg DVD copy, and it is DEFINITELY "goonie goo GOO"!

WOW! What great input! For anyone wanting a great laugh, sneakypreacher had a website of the transcript. (message dated Sat. Feb. 11) Anyway, just reading it, and picturing Eddie, I laughed my ass off....Thanks again!

I watched this dvd about 100 times and can restate the whole stand-up pretty much word by word. I still use the lines today so I am positive it is Eddie Murhy is saying "Goonie Goo-Goo."
