The only "Rodney" reference in the movie is an inside joke while he's watching TV at home late at night, and one of the commercials playing is one that Rodney was in. Another good inside joke is the motel that Julio & Alison go to on their wedding night is called "Pips Lounge," and that's the name of the comedy club in Brooklyn where Rodney often performed his stand-up act.
