I nearly crapped my pants today when I found this for $4

Yes indeed. There was a video store selling off their VHS rentals and i talked the cashier into selling me some for $4 each, which is what they charge to rent them. I got about 11 movies but I should have bought a few more, but I'll probably go back.

Anyway I haven't watched this yet, but I seriously doubt a DVD is in the works. There is some problem preventing the rights from being obtained, including others like AMERICAN NIGHTMARE (also Canadian, made in 1981), FINAL EXAM, and FUNERAL HOME.

Along with 'Curtains' I would very much like to see 'American Nightmare' released on DVD as well.

What is up with these Canadian horror flix and slow to nonexistent DVD releases?

Last year, I got this film from the nearby huge used video store for $1. Eventually, I got about 600 VHS tapes, all for $1. Sometimes, I watch these films once and then put 2 episodes of CSI: Miami or whatever on the tape.

Maybe, I should keep this film until it becomes available on DVD.
