SPOILERS 'THEY'RE DEAD TOO'

When Patti and Samantha had a confrontation in the kitchen at the end, Patti said, "They're dead too." I wondered how Patti knew this, because Patti wasn't the one who killed the director and Brooke. Do you remember the brief and unusual scene which showed someone in the Audra mask, looking through a window, watching Matthew ride on the snowmobile? And then that was the end of the scene? Well, the original scene was he drove through a room, knocking the director and Brooke out the windows to their deaths (which Audra aka Patti saw). But as I'm sure you know, they added in a scene of Samantha firing a gun, and it was intercut with the two people falling out the window. To make it look like Samantha shot them through the window. So when Patti said "They're dead too", she had seen them fall to their deaths. According to the original version, her comment made sense, but the version that made the final cut did not make sense.

Remember, this film was on the shelf for a long time, with cast and director changes, reshoots, etc.

I would have said this before, but I forgot about it until now.

When they showed someone in the Audra mask, looking through the window, it was someone with blue eyes. So I knew brown-eyed Tara wasn't the killer.

Aren't you overthinking this? Patti said 'They're dead too' after Samantha said that she killed the director. Patti is crazy enough to believe Samantha, so she just takes Samantha's word for it and says her line.

Samantha really did kill the director and Brooke. Remember, Patti was shown at a mental institution at the end of the movie. So Patti must have committed the murders (other than Stryker and Brooke), was found incompetent to stand trial, and was sent to a mental institution. When Patti said, "They're dead too", she knew she killed everybody but Stryker and Brooke. Maybe Patti saw Brooke dead in the snow. Maybe I am overthinking it, but I don't know.

Yeah, that's what I ment with overthinking, I guess the director of this movie would've shown a small scène where Patti found both body's, but it would kill the twist. So we have to take all their words for it (that Patti has seen the body's, so that her line makes sense and that she's crazy enough to know that Samantha ment it when she herself said she killed Stryker and Brooke).
