One of the most horrific scenes that I have ever seen in a horror film
Little Danny Pintauro screaming in the back seat of the car while watching his mother being viciously mauled within an inch of her life. Absolutely horrifying.

I just happened to flip the tv back to that scene. :( Heartwrenching. I have two very small girls, and can only imagine what that would be like not to be able to stop the attacks or comfort your baby.
shareCompletely agree. I watched the DVD again last night, and this was a heart-stopping scene. Danny was a terrific actor in this movie; a lot of little kids come across as too precious or something, but he was natural and believable - which made this sequence truly wrenching.
shareIt would traumatize a kid for life....
the spinning camera scene directly following the attack is what I really liked.

"now.... where was I?"

Yes, the kid screaming in the car was probably the most horrifying scene in this movie. And also extremely annoying - which probably just added to the effectiveness of the scene.
shareIt was almost like watching a rape scene. I felt really bad during that scene.
